Final Digital TV (DTV) Channel Plan from FCC97-115

On April 21, 1997, in FCC document 97-115, the Federal Communications Commission outlined its final channel allotment plan for Digital TV (also called DTV or HDTV). The plan allocated one Digital TV (ATSC) channel for each existing full power NTSC TV allocation. This information was extracted directly from the WordPerfect version of the FCC's Sixth Report and Order on Advanced Television Systems and Their Impact upon the Existing Television Broadcast Service - FCC 97-115A.

The DTV power levels are average power. Peak power will be at least four times as much. Refer to the column descriptions for an explanation of the data in each column.
